Pick your Tournament Brackets Here and Give Hope!

Simple Rules:

1) 100% of pool goes to sponsor orphans in the Dominican Republic in Winner's Name through SCORE International http://www.scoreinternational.org/

2) Donate minimum $10 entry fee per bracket one of following ways:

-Write a check to SCORE International and give to Stephanie or Jay to submit

3) Enter your bracket at http://hopethroughhoops.mayhem.cbssports.com/e . If you don't have a previous account with CBSsports, register yourself individually with CBS creating username and personal password. Then, use the group password: orphans.

Brackets open Sunday, March 17th after the Selection Show. Brackets must be submitted by 11 a.m CST/ 12 noon EST on Thursday, March 21st.

4) Invite your family and friends to play! Email, Tweet, FB....just ask them to join us to make a difference in the life of an orphan while we enjoy the Dance.

Katie Beth's Sponsorship!!!

Hello, fellow Bracket Busters! I sent you an email picture of "Y" this morning to notify you of this post! (Not cleared to post on a public blog yet.) Isn't she beautiful? We hope to meet her this summer and tell her about all of you, especially Mrs. Katie Beth Pate Allen, who actually thought we had pity on her "let" her win the bracket. Ha! KB was the only one who selected UCONN to win the whole thing so she came roaring from behind. Remember CBS manages the bracket not me. So for the tally..... With about 40 folks generously donating, we easily raised $550 and that's not counting on my colleagues who was so inspired that she's contributing another $410 to sponsor a 2nd orphan! That's nearly $1,000 while we watched basketball. For our extra $140 raised, I'm going to specifically request that the money go to purchasing birthday gifts for 5 of the 100 girls who currently don't have sponsors. All money will be sent in on May 2nd. If I sent you a reminder this morning on money owed, you can make our your check to SCORE International until end of April. After that, just make your check out to me. Look for your reminder to play again next year! (Special thanks to each of you who helped get the word out.) Blessed be His Name!
